Homoweork and behaviour policies

You may download the centre's behaviour for successful learning guidelines (PDF 153KB)

All students who attend the Saturday School of Community Languages are expected to behave in a respectful, responsible and safe manner at all times.

As outlined in our whole school homework policy (PDF 125KB), homework is an important part of your learning.

Homework forms a part of the internal class assessment. Students will be expected to complete all assigned tasks. All homework will be monitored by the classroom teacher. The amount of homework will be manageable taking into account competing demands on students. Teachers will advise the assistant supervisor if there are issues relating to the non completion of homework.

The assistant supervisor in the first instance will speak to the student. If the student continues not to do homework, the parent/caregiver will be contacted and an interview arranged if appropriate. The home school will be notified in writing if an interview takes place.
