You may download the centre's behaviour for successful learning guidelines (PDF 153KB). All students who attend the Saturday School of Community Languages are expected to behave in a respectful, responsible and safe manner at all times.

As outlined in our whole school homework policy (PDF 125KB), homework is an important part of your learning. Homework at the Bankstown Girls HS centre will be:

  • appropriate to the student's skill level and range
  • interesting, challenging, meaningful and relevant to the curriculum
  • assessed each Saturday and feedback and support provided
  • given sufficient time to be completed
  • recorded  so as to provide feedback and support to both student and parent/caregivers
  • a vital link between teacher, student and parent/caregivers as an indication of student progress at this centre.

All classes across all languages will be expected to have work that will be completed during the week in preparation for the following Saturday class.
